Back to School Block Party 2010
Our 2010 Fun in the Son Back to School Block Party is set for Saturday, August 14 from 10-2 PM. We are looking for groups or churches who would like to face paint, bring carnival games, prizes, sing or perform, clowns with balloons, bring snow cone machines, water slides, dunking machines, bring food to supply lunch that day, or help collect school supplies for the children who come.

Back to School Block Party 2009
On Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 10 AM until 2 PM, we will host our 4th annual Back to School Block party. Our goal is to provide over 600 new backpacks and school supplies to the children in downtown Knoxville. This is an awesome opportunity to meet some special children downtown, and meet an important need by providing new backpacks & school supplies, but also a fun day in Jesus' name!! A great way to have fun in the Son!!
Volunteer Update:
Approximately 100 volunteers are needed to make this run smoothly in areas such as setup, carnival games, registration, school supplies, water slides, dunking booth, snow cone machine, contests, prize table, lunch, trash control, security, and clean up.
