After reading Hebrews 6:6 that states when we have been enlightened and experienced the Holy Spirit, but then choose sin, we are crucifying Jesus again.   So we decided to give the sins we are carrying back to the cross and leave them there.  Praise the Lord & pray for all of Water Angels for the faithful, obedient walk in the Lord!

Our block party is set for Saturday, August 14 from 10-2 PM, and we are currently collecting New Backpacks, glue, glue sticks, rulers, scissors, pencils, crayons, paper, 3 prong folders, and markers.  You can also help us financially provide a day of fun with Water Slides, Snow Cone machines, facepainting, hair cuts, Dunking machines, carnival games, and lunch.  Come be the hands & feet of Jesus and help us reach hundreds of children for Christ this summer!  For more information and status, please click on Back to School Block Party.

Over 1500 eggs found on Saturday, April 3 during Shining Stars & so much fun was had by all.  A heartfelt thanks to Northstar Church for providing lunch, facepainting, music & lesson, and to Rocky Hill Baptist, and  Laura Killion's Girl Scout Troop for providing over 1500 eggs!.  It was an awesome day in the Lord today seeing all the volunteers showing Christ's love to so many special children.  For more information how you can volunteer with Shining Stars, please click on the Shining Star page.

What an awesome Spirit filled day we had on February 4 unloading the truck & putting bags together, praying over them to bless each family that comes for the pantry on February 13.  Our normal bible study group helped today, and after a great bible study, we worked, worshiped, and praised God throughout the day.  We will be handing these out on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10-2 PM.

On February 2, we started our new outreach to the area prostitutes and addicts called Undivided Devotion.  At 5 PM, we have dinner, worship, devotion, prayer, and sharing time with those enslaved to this bondage.  Many are drug addicted and prostitution allows them to provide for their addiction, but then they get to a point where they cannot stop either.  One came to me, and mentioned she wants to stop badly, but cannot.  I told her Jesus is the only way that can break that bondage, and she told me that prays to him.  In fact, she sat on a sidewalk on Central and wrote in the mud, "Lord, Help Me".  Ever since she told me that my heart has been burdened for her and others out there.  The Holy Spirit led me to 1 Corinthians 7:23 talking about how he wants single women to be faithful in both body & soul, and when we do that we have undivided devotion when we focus our attention all on Him.  So pray for us every Tuesday night at 5 PM, that we have Undivided Devotion with Him, and with the struggling girls.  Pray that He leads them to us, pray that they surrender to Him, and breaks them free from bondage.  If you would like to be a part of this outreach, please email Stephanie at thewaterangels@gmail.com  For more information, please go to Bible Classes page.

We are looking for volunteers & partners to help serve the homeless and at-risk community in Knoxville.  This is a great way for your families to serve God together or your small group at church to  make a difference in Jesus' name to a struggling person.  We are unapolegitically Christian, and encourage you to share your faith with others.  God is the only reason why we are here, and He is the only way out of the "pits" we find ourselves in, whether you are homeless or blessed with a home.
